TF International Securities analyst Min-Chi Kuo, known for expertise in Apple’s supply chain, initially estimated sales to be between 160,000 and 180,000 units based on preorder inventory and shipping timelines. Kuo accurately predicted the swift sell-out, attributing it to a smaller initial shipment and the headset’s premium price point of $3,499.
