The Vivo X100 Ultra & Vivo X Fold 3 launch details shared by a trusted source

According to the tipster, the Vivo X100 Ultra will launch in the second quarter of the year. So at some point between the beginning of April and the end of June. That phone is expected to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, along with Sony’s LYT-900 camera sensor. It will also likely include 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, and much more.

The Vivo X100 Pro is already an outstanding smartphone, and the ‘Ultra’ is set to push that a bit further. It will be interesting to compare the Sony IMX989 and the Sony LYT-900 sensors on high-end phones from the same company.

The Vivo X Fold 3 series could be considerably lighter & thinner than the Vivo X Fold 2

The Vivo X Fold 3, on the other hand, is expected to arrive in two variants and launch at some point in March. The vanilla and ‘Pro’ models are coming, and they’ll be “all-round thin and light”. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 was also mentioned when it comes to these two phones. That chip could only fuel the ‘Pro’ variant, though.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is also rumored to have an in-display fingerprint scanner, well, probably two of them, one for each display. A 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera was also mentioned not long ago, as was wireless charging.

Vivo also has a new tablet in the pipeline

The Vivo Pad 3 could launch in March too. There was no mention of a joint launch event for the Vivo X Fold 3 series and the Vivo Pad 3, but it could happen. That table will likely utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor and offer 80W wired charging. Also, previous rumors mentioned a 13-inch display.

Vivo surely has some interesting devices in the pipeline, and all of them will drop before Q3, at least in China. It remains to be seen if any of them will make their way outside of Vivo’s homeland.
