Majin Bu, a well-known Apple tipster, shared the iPhone 16 schematics a couple of days ago. Along with those, he shared renders based on those schematics. With that in mind, now he confirmed that what he shared is “most likely” the final design of the iPhone 16.

The iPhone 16 is coming later this year, and this is “most likely” its final design

The tipster says that his sources confirmed as much. They said that the renders released represent the iPhone 16 prototypes with an “almost 100%” accuracy. He presumes that we’re looking at a final design here (image below).

Apple iPhone 16 almost certainly final design based on schematic

The colors may be off, of course, he still doesn’t have any info on those. The design, however, is most likely completely accurate. As you can see, the iPhone 16 is moving from a diagonal dual camera setup on the back to a more regular setup. Its two cameras will be vertically aligned.

The backplate seems to be entirely flat, as expected, and the same goes for its sides. Well, the sides will have a slight curve towards the edges, for comfort, similar to what the iPhone 15 offers.

The camera setup on the back will look different compared to the iPhone 15

The two cameras on the back will be a part of the same camera island. They will protrude on the back, a bit. Apple’s logo will be placed in the middle of the phone’s backplate, and the device will once again be made out of aluminum and glass.

We don’t get to see the front side of the device here, but Majin Bu did share it the other day. The bezels will be uniform, though they won’t be as thin as on the ‘Pro’ models. A Dynamic Island will once again be included at the top of the display, though.

The iPhone 16 will also get a change on its left side. It will ditch the alert slider in favor of the Action Button that is already included on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.
