The upcoming iPhone SE is tipped to feature both a Dynamic Island and a single camera. This information comes from Majin Bu, a well-known Apple tipster. He also recently shared a schematic that more or less confirms the design of the iPhone 16, based on his words.
The next iPhone SE could include both a Dynamic Island and a single-camera
Now, in regards to the next iPhone SE, many of you know that it has been heavily rumored for quite some time. That device has been in development for quite some time, and its launch date is still a mystery.
Majin Bu claims that its design will be based on the iPhone 16 design, which is something another tipster doesn’t agree with. Unknownz21 believes that won’t be the case, and that the next iPhone SE design will be based on the iPhone 14, as previously rumored.
Either way, it remains to be seen. Majin Bu did share altered renders of the iPhone 16. These are supposed to show an approximate design of the iPhone SE. You can check them out below.
There’s still a chance it will be based on the iPhone 14 design instead
As you can see, both a Dynamic Island and a single camera are included on the back. So this is basically the iPhone 16 without one of the two cameras on the back. If the iPhone SE has been in development for quite some time, and Apple didn’t change its plans suddenly, chances are it will be based on the iPhone 14.
However, perhaps Majin Bu knows something we don’t, as he claims to have received new information. It’s possible Apple switched lanes and wants its upcoming phones to have a very similar design language.
It’s also possible it wasn’t to ditch the notch entirely. The iPhone 14 does have a display notch, and perhaps Apple doesn’t want to include it on the iPhone SE. That seems plausible. In any case, we’re just guessing. We’ll see what ends up being true.
