The OnePlus Watch 2 could be less than a week away!

The OnePlus 12 was very highly reviewed, but it looks like the company has one more interesting device up its sleeve. We’ve been following rumors of the company’s second smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch 2. After a teaser came out recently, we got word that the OnePlus Watch 2 could launch very soon.

While the leaker is reputable, you will still want to take this news with a grain of salt. This watch is set to launch very soon, but anything could change between now and the launch date. As for other information about this watch, that’s also rumored.

A new rumor says that the OnePlus Watch 2 could launch very soon

We very recently got a teaser of the OnePlus Watch 2, and it confirmed some of the rumored information. Based on the leaks, it appears that OnePlus is going for a flat top, resembling a Galaxy watch this time around. The first OnePlus Watch was more similar to what we saw with the Pixel Watch with a round pebble-shaped top.

In fact, based on the few visuals we have, it looks like OnePlus completely revamped the design of its smartwatch. It could be going for a more elegant look. The leaked images make it more closely resemble a classic mechanical watch rather than a smartwatch. On the side, there’s a subtle protrusion that will house the two buttons.

As for the rumored specs of this smartwatch, it appears that this OnePlus Watch 2 could have a 1.43-inch OLED display. As for the processor, we’re looking at the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 wearable chipset.

What’s most notable is the fact that it is tipped to come with Wear OS pre-installed. That’s pretty major, seeing as the first OnePlus Watch did not come with Wear OS. We’re not quite sure if it’s going to be Wear OS 3 or Wear OS 4. We’re just going to have to wait for that information.

As for the launch date, the leaker Max Jambor stated that this watch was going to come out on February 24th. However, he then retracted that statement and said that it is coming out on the 26th. Either way you slice it, this watch is coming out in less than a week.
