The upcoming iPhone 16 series has been the subject of several leaks and reports lately. Just last week, the design of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus was leaked via dummy units. Also, the alleged battery capacities of some iPhone 16 series surfaced online. Now, the iPhone 16 Plus color variants have been leaked.
iPhone 16 Plus is said to be arriving in seven color models
According to the Weibo-based tipster Fixed Focus Digital, the 6.7-inch iPhone 16 Plus will be available in seven color variants. To compare, the previous-gen iPhone 15 Plus was launched in only five colors. The iPhone 16 Plus will bring two new color variants including White and Purple. The rest of the five colors will be the same as the last-gen. These include Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, and Black.
Unfortunately, the source hasn’t revealed any more context regarding the colors, apart from the model name. There’s a possibility that Apple could offer the existing five-color models in slightly different shades. It’s worth mentioning that the Weibo leaker doesn’t exactly have a great track record. So, it’s advisable to take this leak with a grain of salt.
iPhone 16 Pro color variants were leaked earlier
It’s worth mentioning that the iPhone 16 Pro color models were also leaked recently. According to the report, the Pro model is coming in Space Black, Gray, White, and Rose colors. There’s a possibility that Apple could use different names for these colors. The source also noted that Apple will utilize color-infused glass with a matte texture back on the phone.
In related news, a handful of iPhone 16 Pro rumors have just been confirmed in a recent leak. The source says Apple will offer the iPhone 16 Pro in two more color variants. These are said to include Desert Yellow and Cement. They are supposed to replace ‘Blue Titanium’ and ‘Natural Titanium’ colors. It’s worth mentioning Apple could end up calling them Titanium Gold and Cement Titanium Gray models.
The source also mentioned that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 48MP main camera. It will have a custom Sony IMX903 main sensor. Also, the iPhone 16 Pro will be arriving in a much-anticipated 2TB variant, adds the leak.
