Today, the company just introduced us to its first pair of open-ear headphones. Called the Beyerdynamic Verio 200, these are meant to let you hear your music along with the outside world.
Beyerdynamic is mostly known for its larger products like headphones, but the company also has a few smaller products. Its FREE BYRD was its first pair of TWS earbuds. While they’re a little old, they still hold up today. They have great audio quality, amazing battery life, and top-tier noise cancelation. The company did a great job for its foray into the TWS world.

Beyerdynamic introduces the Verio 200 headphones
The Beyerdynamic Verio 200 may look like your typical pair of earbuds, but it goes beyond that notion. Earbuds are designed to isolate you with your audio. They cut out the world so that you can hear every detail of your music. However, there are people who want a more open sound. They want to hear the world around them and have their music funneling into their ears.
This is where the Verio 200 headphones come in. They’re a pair of open-ear headphones. This means that they actually sit on the outside of your ears so that you’re able to hear the world around you.
As you could guess, you’re getting some great audio quality from these headphones. They have drivers tuned to deliver a high-fidelity sound. Along with that, they use quality materials. The Verio 200 are IP54 water and dust resistant. This means that you don’t have to worry about using these during your workout. They’re splash-proof.

The Beyerdynamic Verio 200 use Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and AAC. Using aptX Adaptive, you can expect a pretty low latency and an adjustable bit rate.
Other specs include Bluetooth 5.3 and a frequency response of 20 – 20,000 Hz. Those are par for the course for high-end headphones.
