If you’re shopping for a gaming laptop then Alienware has a ton of great options, and right now Best Buy has a must-see deal on the Alienware m18 that slashes several hundred dollars off the regular retail price.
This model comes with an NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU and an FHD+ display, and it normally retails for $2,550. However, Best Buy has knocked $600 off that price and you can now pick it up for just $1,950. That’s most certainly still a lot for a laptop, especially with all of the options you have at under $1,000. However, this is a gaming laptop with top-end specs and for an Alienware laptop, a $600 discount is nothing to scoff at.
While the screen resolution is only FHD+, the refresh rate is 480Hz. So that more than makes up for the lower resolution. And honestly, FHD+ is more than fine at this size. In addition to the NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU, it’s running with an AMD Ryzen 9 7000 series CPU. Additionally, it has a 1TB SSD and 32GB of RAM. One of my favorite little bonuses is that when you buy this laptop you get a free 1-month trial of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. With that in hand, you’re ready to play games in no time. You’ll still have to download the games of course.
But Xbox Game Pass Ultimate lets you check a wide variety of games out for free. So you won’t have to buy any new games right away. Alienware also packed this laptop with some serious cooling tech to ensure optimal performance over longer gaming sessions. And, the built-in speakers feature Dolby Atmos support. So if you’re not playing with headphones, the speakers should do a pretty decent job at providing you with good-quality audio for your games.
