This phone will compete directly with the Galaxy Z Flip 6, it seems, as that flip phone will use the same SoC. And yes, the Xiaomi MIX Flip is expected to launch globally, unlike its MIX Fold siblings that launched thus far. The upcoming Xiaomi MIX Fold device could also spread its wings, finally.
It is also worth noting that Xiaomi applied for 8 new folding screen-related trademarks last month. That could improve the folding mechanism in Xiaomi’s new foldable, but those patents won’t affect the two devices we’re talking about here. Their designs are already finalized.
The Xiaomi MIX Flip is expected to arrive in July. Xiaomi still hasn’t confirmed anything, but that is the month mentioned in rumors. As a reminder, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 launched in August last year.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 could end up launching in August, or arrive sooner and launch alongside the Xiaomi MIX Flip. Well, the rumors could also be wrong, the Xiaomi MIX Flip could arrive a bit later, and launch in August. We’re not really sure at this point.
What we are hoping will happen, however, is that we’ll get to see global variants of both of these phones. Consumers around the globe use Xiaomi’s products, so offering the company’s foldable devices will only help push the industry forward.
