The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra only went on sale a few weeks ago, but Amazon does have a pretty nice deal available for those thinking about buying one. It’s not really a discount, but instead a freebie. When you order a Galaxy Watch Ultra, Amazon will toss in a free band. The band that Amazon is including is the Trail band, which is normally $79.
With the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Samsung made its most durable watch ever. It’s a 47mm watch, that has air cushions on the side to help with impact. This makes it more durable, along with the titanium body and sapphire crystal display.
New this year is the BioActive Sensor. This makes health and fitness measurements even more accurate on the Galaxy Watch Ultra. So you can use this to get into shape or stay in shape and push your body even harder. It can also help you figure out if you have Sleep Apnea. While Samsung stresses that this is not a diagnostic tool, it does help you figure out if you might have sleep apnea and to go see a specialist about it.
Battery life on the Galaxy Watch Ultra is still pretty good. We’re looking at about 2-3 days with everything turned on. Or around 100 hours with battery saver mode turned on. That’s pretty similar to the smaller Galaxy Watch 7 or even last year’s Galaxy Watch 6 Classic which is also a 47mm watch.
