Samsung is rumored to increase the prices of its next-gen foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. This may not sound very pleasing to your ears, but hey, the freebies could be amazing. You might get a free pair of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro with either foldable.
Samsung to bundle free Galaxy Buds 3 Pro with Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6
According to tipster Roland Quandt, Samsung will include a pair of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro to your Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Galaxy Z Flip 6 purchase at no additional cost. You pay for the foldable and receive the premium wireless earbuds for free. This offer may not be available globally, but buyers in the US will likely get Samsung’s best earbuds as a gift.
The source doesn’t specify whether this will be a pre-order benefit or a freebie with either foldable beyond the pre-order period. Samsung usually offers better gifts during the pre-order period and lowers the freebie value later. However, we don’t remember it including free premium earbuds with its flagship phones in recent years. If true, this is a generous offer from the Korean giant. Hopefully, it won’t come at the cost of a free storage upgrade.
In most markets, pre-ordering a Galaxy flagship or foldable gives you a free storage upgrade where you get the higher storage variant at a lower price. For example, customers who pre-ordered the 256GB Galaxy S24 Ultra and received the 512GB variant at no additional cost. It’s unclear whether this offer will be available for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Thankfully, we will find out soon, as the new foldables go official on July 10.
Samsung also has a pair of less premium wireless earbuds in the pipeline
Scheduled to arrive alongside the new foldables next week, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro could be Samsung’s most premium wireless earbuds yet. The buds sport an AirPods-like stemmed design with no rubber ear tips. The company has added some original design elements to the body but the overall shape is a copy of Apple’s wireless earphones.
These aren’t the only new earbuds Samsung has in the pipeline, though. The company is also reading the non-Pro Galaxy Buds 3. This pair has a similar design but keeps the ear tips. Maybe the Korean firm will offer these as a freebie in some markets where bundling the Pro isn’t practical due to finances. Samsung should make it all clear at the Unpacked next week. The event will also bring the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Ring.
