Pixel season is fast approaching, and we’re all awaiting the next series of Google devices. Among the new toys, the company is going to launch a new smartwatch. Well, we have some rumored prices for the Pixel Watch 3… and they’re not looking good.
Strangely enough, Google is going to be holding an event in August, around two months earlier than in other years. We’re not sure what the company is going to launch during this event, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to launch everything that we’ve been covering. With Galaxy Unpacked out of the way, there’s not much more time to wait. We’ll find out soon enough.
The prices for the Pixel Watch 3 aren’t looking good
As with any leak, you’ll want to take this news with a grain of salt. There’s always the chance that we’re hearing inaccurate or out-of-date information. So, things could change between now and the official launch.
However, with how Google is about keeping a lid on leaks, this might be 100% accurate. The Pixel 9 Pro was already leaked in videos. One video showed off the camera’s zoom capabilities, and another compared it to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
This news comes to us from Dealabs, and it points to the European prices for the new Pixel Watches. Starting off with the 41mm watches, the Wi-Fi variant could cost €399 while the 4G variant could cost €499. Those roughly convert to $436 and $546. However, the US prices won’t be these irregular numbers. We could be looking at $449 and $549, respectively, for the US prices, but that’s just speculation.
Moving onto the 45mm variants, the Wi-Fi variant could cost €449 while the 4G variant could come to €549. Looking at the conversions ($491 and $601), we might be looking at $499 and $599 for the US prices.
This means that the cheapest Pixel Watch 3 could debut at the price of the most expensive Pixel Watch 2. Also, the base Galaxy Watch 7 comes in at €319. It looks like Google is going to have a hard time justifying its higher price tag. This is especially true, as the 44mm 4G variant is starting to nip at the heels of the Galaxy Watch Ultra’s price.
