Best Buy currently has Logitech’s G305 gaming mouse on sale and this is a deal you don’t want to miss if you’re on the hunt for a new mouse. The Logitech G305 has always been supremely popular in part for its affordability. But it’s also a really good gaming mouse so the combination of its quality and price are what really make it as good as it is. Normally this mouse would cost $50 at the full retail price.
But for the time being, Best Buy has discounted it down to $41. This is a wireless mouse which makes it great for use with laptops if you’re out and about. But what’s really nice about it is the battery life. Most wireless gaming mice have non-removable, rechargeable batteries inside. There’s nothing wrong with this really, but they can sometimes offer less battery life. More to the point, you have to plug them in when the battery needs a recharge.
The G305 is different. Instead of a rechargeable battery, it uses one AA battery for power. When the battery is depleted, simply swap it out for a new AA battery. Additionally, the battery can last for up to 250 hours of continuous playtime before that needs to happen. Alongside the long-lasting battery life, the G305 also has 6 programmable buttons that you can map. No matter the type of game you’re playing with this mouse, the programmable buttons will make it easier.
Logitech is also using a 12,000 DPI Hero sensor here. Now, having your DPI turned up to 12,000 is quite high, and many people may not even get close to the sensitivity being that high. But if you prefer the cursor to travel across more screen space without moving the mouse as much, the higher DPI will come in handy.
