NVIDIA GeForce NOW has come quite a long way in terms of game support. What started as a service that maybe offered a few hundred games, has blossomed into a service that now lets you stream thousands of the most popular titles.

With that said, GeForce NOW has reached a pretty major milestone this week. At the very least, it’s a milestone worth highlighting. With this week’s releases, GeForce NOW has game support for 2,000 different titles. Now, we know this isn’t anywhere near the amount of games available on Steam that you can play locally. It is, however, well over the number of any other cloud gaming service that you can subscribe to. And that is something worth celebrating.

It’s also something to get excited about if you’re a consumer trying to decide on which service to give your money to. While there’s something to be said about quality over quantity in some situations, there’s also something to be said about having a wide variety of options. And in this case, you have a very wide variety of options. In short, you’ll never want for something to play in the cloud. And chances are, NVIDIA has at least a few of your favorite games available to stream.

With GeForce NOW game support at 2,000 titles, this week offers a few new options

Last week NVIDIA laid out its plans for a big month in the cloud gaming space with 18 titles coming to the service for August. One of those is Star Wars Outlaws, which will launch officially on consoles and PC. That isn’t one of this week’s games since it’s not launching until August 30. It is coming, however, and you’ll be able to stream it through GeForce NOW on day one.

For this week, NVIDIA is adding four new games. This includes Nine Sols, the Visions of Mana demo, Ratten Reich, and my personal favorite, the Steam version of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. I started playing this game through Ubisoft Connect during launch, and let me tell you. If you love platformers, then you need to pick this game up.

Don’t forget the extras

Not every week brings in bonuses for subscribers, but this week does. Starting on August 8, GeForce NOW subscribers who play The Elder Scrolls Online can claim a special emote. It’s not a giant content pack or a collection of new gear or weapons. But emotes are a fun way to liven things up in MMOs. And with this special emote you can be the envy of your friends who don’t subscribe to GeForce NOW.

NVIDIA is also still holding its Summer Sale where you can save 50% on GeForce NOW subscriptions. So if you haven’t tried it out yet, there’s no time like the present.
