Amazon has a pretty sweet deal going on right now for the Sony Bravia 3 – which is the company’s entry-level 2024 model TV. All screen sizes, except for the 43-inch, are currently on sale at up to 20% off. The 85-inch model is a full 25% off.

While the Bravia 3 is Sony’s entry-level TV, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad TV, in fact quite the opposite. This is a really good TV, with an LED panel. Thanks to Triluminous Pro, you’re getting real-world colors on this panel, as it is able to reproduce colors with enhanced saturation and hue so everything you watch is vivid and bright.
Bravia 3 will also upscale everything you watch, giving you 4K picture quality even on older 720p content. This is thanks to 4K X-Reality PRO which is able to analyze and refine every scene using Sony’s unique 4K reference database.
When it comes to software, of course we’re looking at Google TV. Sony was one of the first to go all-in with Android TV nearly 10 years ago, so it makes sense that they’d be using Google TV as well. This gives you access to thousands of apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, MAX and so much more. There’s also support for Google Assistant, and soon Gemini.
However, perhaps the best part of owning a Sony TV is the Sony Pictures Core app. This app has movies from Sony Pictures, which are available in 4K HDR with Dolby Vision, as well as IMAX Enhanced. There are some titles that are available for free, and Sony does give you a few credits with your TV purchase. It’s honestly one of the best features of any Sony TV.
Finally, we can’t forget about Dolby. Sony does support both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos here. And it’s a great TV for your PlayStation 5.
