The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra apparently sells far better than its siblings in Samsung’s homeland. Based on a new report, 70% of Galaxy S25 series sales are for the ‘Ultra’ model.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra sells far better than its siblings in Korea
The report comes from ET News, and it’s based on what SK Telecom said. The carrier said that the vast majority of people are going with the Galaxy S25 Ultra in South Korea. That was kind of expected, though.
This is the case every year, the ‘Ultra’ model ends up being the most popular one. It’s not surprising that this year the percentage seems to be even higher, though, as the ‘Ultra’ model delivered the most change compared to its predecessor.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are extremely similar to their predecessors. To an even higher degree than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Do note that this information is based on SK Telecom purchases and that the phones are still in the pre-order stage.
The most sought-after colors were also revealed
SK Telecom also revealed that Titanium Black and Titanium White Silver colors were the most sought-after shades of the company’s new flagship. In regards of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, consumers were most interested in the Ice Blue and Silver Shadow models.
The carrier itself confirmed that the demand for this year’s models is similar as the demand for last year’s ones, in terms of general demand, not what phone is the most sought-after. These are good news for Samsung, as the Galaxy S24 series sales were really good.
WIth the Galaxy S25 series launch the emphasis was once again on AI. Samsung didn’t really change the design much, especially for the vanilla and ‘Plus’ models, while many of the internals stayed the same too.
Samsung is hoping that, with the power of AI, it will be able to attract consumers. One UI 7 is shipping on top of Android 15, and it does add a new look to the table, along with some new features.
