While smartphone screens have gotten much more durable these days, it’s still a good idea to get a screen protector to protect it from scratches, dings and even shattering.
Since most screen protectors are under $20 – with many under $10 – it’s a no-brainer. It’ll cost you almost nothing, in respect to how much it’ll cost to get the screen replaced, or the entire phone replaced.

Best Google Pixel 6a screen protectors
There are essentially two different types of screen protectors. There’s plastic, made from PET film. And then there’s tempered glass. We prefer the tempered glass screen protectors, as they are more durable and will feel like the naked glass on your phone. Because, well, it’s glass. But they are also tough to remove, without getting little glass shards everywhere.
Typically, the plastic screen protectors are cheaper, but with tempered glass becoming so much more popular as of late, that has driven down their costs as well. So getting tempered glass is almost a no-brainer now.

This pack of tempered glass screen protectors from OMOTON is pretty impressive. You get three screen protectors for the actual screen, and then OMOTON also includes two protectors for the glass around the cameras on the back. So you can keep your cameras nice and safe on the Pixel 6a.
It will work with the under-screen fingerprint sensor, but OMOTON recommends not registering a fingerprint until you have installed the screen protector. Then you can enroll your fingerprint. That way you get the best results, as the protector will affect the way your fingerprint looks.

Here’s another tempered glass screen protector for the Google Pixel 6a. This is also a 3-pack but it does not come with a protector for the camera module on the back. That’s fine though, it’s not really needed, especially if you’re using a case.
This is a pretty thin screen protector, which means that you’ll be able to use it with a screen protector without much issues. It’s super easy to install too, which is always a nice thing to have.

The Supershieldz Tempered Glass screen protector is a pretty popular one for other smartphones, so it’ll likely be a best seller for the Pixel 6a as well. This is also a 3-pack, like the others on this list. And it is anti-scratch and bubble-free, two of the most annoying things that screen protectors give you from time to time.
It’s pretty thin at just 0.2mm, so you should be able to use it with a case on your Google Pixel 6a.

Here’s another three-pack that also includes two for the camera module. Now this isn’t really needed for the camera, but always good to have that extra protection. The camera protector is black too, so it’ll blend in, and you won’t even notice that it is on there.
It’s tempered glass, and a bit thicker than some of the others on this list, at 0.33mm thick. But it should work with most cases still. If not, a case without a lip should still work without any issues.

Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector

Spigen recently got into making its own screen protectors, and now it has one for the Pixel 6a. This is the GlasTR Align Master, which comes with a bumper case to help you align the screen protector perfectly onto the Pixel 6a.
Spigen also says that this has been tested and confirmed working with every Spigen Pixel 6a case. That means it may not work with non-Spigen cases, but there’s a good chance it will. This screen protector also uses black bars to match the bezels on the Pixel 6a.

Caseology Snap Fit Clear Tempered Glass Installation Kit

This is another install kit, this time from Caseology. Which explains why it is a bit more expensive than some of the others on this list. It comes with a bumper that helps you align the screen protector perfectly onto your Google Pixel 6a smartphone.
It’s a completely clear screen protector from Caseology, so you won’t notice a reduction in quality here. Which has been a complaint with some other screen protectors on the market these days. So that’s good to hear. Caseology recommends going into settings and Increasing the Touch Sensitivity with this screen protector, specifically for the in-screen fingerprint sensor.
