The Google Pixel 6a is back down to just $299. That’s $150 off of its regular price, which was already a pretty good price, to be quite honest. But Google has dropped it again to $299, making this the best value smartphone deal that you’ll find this holiday season.
At $299, the Google Pixel 6a is a whole lot of phone. It sports a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display, along with the Google Tensor chipset (the original one from the Pixel 6 series), with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It’s a pretty good phone for original price. It also has a 4410mAh capacity battery inside.
It also sports the usual Pixel camera features, thanks to the 12-megapixel main and ultrawide sensors here. So you’re going to get some incredible looking pictures out of this phone. Thanks to things like Night Sight, Portrait mode and more.
Google’s Pixel 6a comes in three colors: Chalk, Charcoal and Sage. These are dual-tone colors like the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. So the Charcoal is black on the bottom part of the back of the phone and a dark gray above the camera. The same goes for the other colors. Our favorite here is the Sage color.
At this price point, there’s quite a few phones available, but a lot of them are just not that great. The Pixel 6a is a great value. In addition to the spec sheet above, it will also get three years of Android updates guaranteed. That means it will get up to Android 15 guaranteed, and might even get Android 16. That’s pretty impressive for a phone of this size.
