This is the OnePlus Nord 4.
On July 16, OnePlus will be announcing the Nord 4, the fourth-generation of its “mid-range” lineup. This time around, OnePlus is going with a metal body, which we have not seen on a phone in quite some time, never mind a mid-range phone. And today, we can show you the OnePlus Nord 4 in its entirety.
OnePlus will be launching the Nord 4 in three colors, which include black, mint, and white/silver color. These are all two-toned colors, which does make the Nord 4 look rather unique.
The OnePlus Nord 4 should have a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It’ll be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor, with a 5,500mAh capacity battery and 100W charging support. OnePlus also equips the Nord 4 with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. It’s good that OnePlus is not pushing a third camera on the Nord 4 that would be useless, like a dedicated macro or depth sensor, which we often see with these cheaper phones.
As we can see from these renders of the OnePlus Nord 4, the device is going to sport flat sides and retain the Alert Slider on the left side. That’s a feature that has become a fan favorite, and when it was removed from the OnePlus 10T a couple of years ago, there was quite a bit of outrage. Another surprise here is, the headphone jack. OnePlus has decided to keep it on the Nord series for the most part, but it’s a little more surprising since this is launching with a brand new pair of Nord Buds 3 Pro.
OnePlus Nord 4 is being announced on July 16, don’t expect a North America launch
As mentioned, OnePlus is having a Summer Launch Event in Milan on July 16, which is where OnePlus will announce the Nord 4, Pad 2, Watch 2R, and Nord Buds 3 Pro, as confirmed by the company last week.
However, we do not expect to see the Nord 4 available in the US. OnePlus has not launched many of its Nord phones in the US in previous years, and we don’t expect that to change this year. OnePlus keeps its US offerings pretty slim since they are not sold at any of the carriers anymore. Currently, in the US, the company sells the OnePlus 12, 12R, Open and Nord N30 5G.
