OnePlus One Information:

The OnePlus One was announced back on April 23rd, and later launched for order through the invite system in mid-June. After months of anticipation about the device and hearing only bits and pieces about the specs and hardware leading up to the official announcement, the world finally got to see what was dubbed the "Flagship Killer" by mainstream media and OnePlus themselves. It captivated individuals for it's use of style and materials as well as premium high-end hardware, without requiring a very high cost. The OnePlus One although having been met with plenty of hurdles and lots of negative attention, has still managed to be a powerful and loveable device to many users. It offers a large display, a great camera, and probably some of the thinnest and smallest bezels ever seen on a smartphone, and houses some pretty powerful hardware. OnePlus did away with the invite system in October of 2014 and instead began selling the device through pre-orders, where they would ship the phone if it was in stock upon purchase, or ship at it's earliest availability if not.

Specs wise the OnePlus One comes with a 5.5-inch LTPS LCD display with 1080 x 1920 resolution and 401 ppi, protected by Corning Gorialla Glass 3. It comes in two storage options, either 16GB or 64GB, both coming with 3GB of RAM. Powering the device is a non-removable 3100mAh battery. It comes sporting a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 Quad-Core processor clocked at 2.5GHz, with an Adreno 330 GPU running the graphics.  The rear facing camera is a 13MP auto-focus sensor with dual LED flash, and the front facing camera is a 5MP sensor. It supports 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and comes running CyanogenMod 11S(based off of Android 4.4 Kit Kat)out of the box.

OnePlus One Editor Rating:

The OnePlus One is a great device, with a good mix of specs and hardware for an extremely low cost. The large display is great and optimal for games, movies, browsing and pretty much anything else. Two different storage options give a little bit of choice to the consumer, and the camera takes some really amazing quality pictures. The design is elegant and sleek, and it seems to have excellent performance for multitasking. For being a modified version of Android, it also seems to run pretty smoothly and stable.
