These days, there’s no shortage of flashy celebrity homes on the market, but it’s rare to see a notable person’s childhood home go up for salewhich adds an undeniable level of sentimentality to the whole ordeal. For those who have dreamed of living in a space that shaped the early years of supermodels extraordinaire, here’s your chance: Bella and Gigi Hadid’s childhood home is for sale. All you need to lock it down is a cool $8.9 million.

The property, at 2347 East Valley Road in Montecito, California (yes, yet another Montecito mansion), boasts 7,000 square feet of perks: an outdoor fireplace; soaring ceilings with wooden beams; five well-appointed bedrooms; a pool/spa/cabana combo; and a chef’s kitchen outfitted with all the latest and greatest appliances. Visually, it evokes a seaside abode in Positano, Italy—featuring bougainvillea-covered courtyard walls, airy rooms, and stone floors. Oh, and there’s a charming stucco patio that we’d never leave if we lived there.

It’s easy to imagine young Gigi, Bella, and their brother, Anwar, running around the place as kids—enjoying afternoons by the gorgeous pool (there’s a slide!), catching a flick in the media/game room, or sneaking snacks from the ornate carved-wood pantry doors. Celebrities...they’re just like us.

In 2019, the Hadid sisters’ mother, Yolanda Hadid, posted a wistful throwback from a 2004 Santa Barbara Magazine photoshoot she took in the house. She reflected on how she chose the home, emphasizing its role in grounding their family: “We’re about dusty riding clothes and muddy boots, not dressing up. Formality and having things on a grand scale was our old life in Los Angeles. This home and keeping things in perspective is our new life here.”

The Mediterranean-inspired abode looks like many other Montecito mansions, yes, but also exudes an undeniable warmth.

Just off the kitchen, this sitting room (one of many, as you’ll see) has a key distinguishing factor: its swoon-worthy, built-in green shelves.

Some things never change, do they? This family room looks practically the same as it did when the Hadids’ home was featured in the pages of Santa Barbara Magazine back in 2004.

The bedrooms in this house have personality. This one is pretty in pink, with balcony access as an added bonus.

There’s no shortage of outdoor space on the property. This stucco nook has a fireplace; seating bedecked in bright, outdoor-friendly fabric; and some plant-powered Mediterranean appeal.

So many elements of this star-studded domicile, built in 1990, have remained the same as they were when the Hadids first moved in—like the moody-yet-inviting family room off the kitchen. But it also incorporates other design trends. Cases in point: green built-in shelving, rustic light fixtures, and vibrant outdoor fabrics.

If you’re already feeling devoted to this Montecito house (whose listing is held by the Grubb Campbell Group), you should know that we are as well. But our mutual level of devotion is nothing compared to that of Anwar Hadid—the actor/producer literally has a tattoo of “2347 E. Valley Rd.” on his hand.

The address clearly means a lot to him, and now it can mean a lot to you, too.
