Although the 2015 season was only Jak's third year in motorsport, he was already making waves on the American karting circuit. He claimed third overall in the TaG Cadet category in both the SKUSA Supernationals and the Pro Tour, before moving up to the Mini Max category where he also took third in the Challenge of the Americas.

Jak Crawford
Jak Crawford may still be in the early stages of his career, but that hasn’t stopped him from securing prestigious karting championships as well as winning races in the world’s most competitive single-seater categories.
His first tentative steps into the demanding world of motorsport, like many, was in national karting series. Results in his first two seasons alluded to untapped potential, and in 2015 that embryonic talent flourished, as Jak took a trio of third place finishes in SKUSA championships and the coveted Challenge of the Americas.
The momentum he carried over from the 2015 season quickly became evident and in 2016, Jak really found his form claiming his first title in the Florida Winter Tour as well as a runner-up spot in the Canadian National Championships.
A year later, he added two further titles to his CV in the shape of the Challenge of the Americas and the SKUSA SuperNationals. Perhaps unsurprisingly, results of that calibre pricked the ears of those in the single-seater fraternity.
For some, the transition from karting to car racing can be difficult to manage, but Jak negotiated his first season in the NACAM Formula 4 Championship with the maturity and skill that earned him a spot on the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team Young Driver Development programme. Six wins and an eventual second place in the standings summed up a stunning maiden season in single-seaters.
The 2019 season would yield similarly impressive results for the young American. The coveted and ultra-competitive ADAC Formula 4 Championship is to be underestimated at your peril, but once again an impressive season, which yielded five victories for Jak, saw the American finish runner-up in the championship – missing out on his first single seater title by just two points.
A step up to Formula 3 machinery in 2021 was another daunting prospect, but once again Jak displayed experience beyond his years in the Euroformula Open Championship. Despite missing out on eight of the total 24 rounds, he still claimed eight wins and an impressive third in standings, alongside his first FIA Formula 3 campaign which yielded one podium.
Similarly in 2022, he dovetailed another F3 season with competing in the Formula Regional Asian Championship. A win and five podiums in the former and three more podiums in the latter were enough to warrant a step up to Formula 2 for 2023.
Once again, Jak made the jump to the next rung on the feeder series ladder with relative ease, adapting quickly to a new car and championship. During the 2023 season of FIA Formula 2, he garnered one win, one pole and five podiums while also making some guest appearances in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship.
It's like I've been around a while even though I haven't and I'm proud to have accomplished so much at such a young age.
