Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team is welcoming its largest group of undergraduate students to its 2024 placement programme.
33 students will join the team by the end of September – nearly double last year – in a variety of roles including engineering and performance, as well as in IT and across Aston Martin Performance Technologies (AMPT) for the first time.
Aside from competing on track, a key focus for Aston Martin Aramco is inspiring and attracting the next generation to careers in STEM and motorsport.
The team's undergraduate programmes are designed for students who are completing a university degree, allowing them to take a 12-13-month placement as part of their studies. The programme aims to supplement their academic studies with hands-on work experience, developing knowledge and equipping them with skills required for future careers.
The undergraduate programme underlines Aston Martin Aramco's investment in the future, nurturing an all-important talent pipeline to assist the team to achieve its goals, both on and off the track. The students will be based in the team's state-of-the-art AMR Technology Campus in Silverstone.
11 graduates have also joined Aston Martin Aramco this year, bringing the total number of students who have begun their careers with the team this year to an all-time high.
