Other Conservation Funding Sources

Many AZA-accredited institutions, as well as governmental agencies, foundations, and corporate philanthropies, provide grant, endowment, or sponsorship funding opportunities for animal conservation, science, and education initiatives. AZA Accreditation Standards require that AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums contribute to animal conservation programs.
