Wireless "Airpods" were the most talked about announcement at Apple's latest iPhone launch.

The company is removing the headphone jack from the iPhone 7 and introducing its own wireless technology.

Users will still be able to plug in regular headphones through the lightning port (the charging hole) - but only with an adaptor.

Socket rage across social media was inevitable - not least because the new headphones will cost £159 a pair.
