New month, same old Championship...published at 22:46 British Summer Time 1 October

There's a reason why people say the Championship is the hardest division to win in world football. Tonight, we got a glimpse of why.
Leaders West Brom were beaten for the second time in four days, allowing Sunderland to take over at the summit and Burnley to join the Black Cats in the top-two.
Blackburn's unbeaten start was brought to a shuddering halt by Coventry, who had been outclassed at Leeds on Saturday, while the Whites and Norwich slugged it out in a draw at Carrow Road and Luton allowed a two-goal lead to slip at home against a side who were two divisions below them just five months ago.
Sheffield United are the division's one remaining unbeaten team, but for how much longer?
We'll see them host Swansea back here tomorrow night to find out.
Thank you for your company this evening, join us again tomorrow for more? Good.
Goodnight.
