I was a seat filler at the MTV movie awards like 15 years ago. Elliott Page was there, and seemed uncomfortable with the attention they got. Paris Hilton was actually really nice. And Rihanna is stunningly gorgeous in real life. Like even more so than in photos.

Also the Heath Ledger version of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” from 10 Things I hate About You. It always made my teenage heart skip a beat

Sally Field as M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias. The only time she fell apart in the whole movie was one of the best monologues I can think of.

I really don’t think that having to use maps and atlas’s prior to smart phones and MapQuest is that surprising to young people.
