I'm Obsessed With Rita Wilson Using Her Coronavirus Quarantine To Promote Her Album

Get that quarantine promo!

By now you've probably heard the news that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have both tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

The two are currently in Australia, where Tom has been shooting a movie. In a statement posted to his social media last night, Tom noted that both he and Rita "will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires."

Fortunately, it sounds as if they're both doing okay, since their son Chet Hanks says they're both "fine" and "aren't worried about it."

So, what's America's favorite celebrity couple doing while isolated in quarantine, you ask? Well, I'm happy to report that Rita is not missing a BEAT and is using this moment to promote her music like the undeniable legend she is.

Last night, with the eyes of the world upon her, Rita took to her Instagram story to address the coronavirus news. In her first story, she posted a statement echoing her husband's, assuring everyone that the situation was under control:

And in the next story, she sent an equally important message to her fans: Stream her damn albums!

"Some music from my coronavirus vacation," she wrote, alongside the cover art for her 2018 album, Bigger Picture.

Honestly, get that promo, Rita!!!! (And, much more importantly, get well soon.)

So there you have it. Stream Bigger Picture!!! And wash your hands. And don't touch your face. Stay safe out there!
