Kourtney Kardashian is getting honest about “mom guilt.”
Kourtney, 45, is mom to four kids. She shares Mason, 14, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 9, with her ex Scott Disick, and welcomed a baby boy named Rocky with her husband, Travis Barker, last November.
Travis also has three kids from a previous relationship, all of whom live as a blended family with Kourtney’s.
Since welcoming baby Rocky, Kourt has been open about her “attachment” parenting style. In a recent episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, she revealed that she chose to spend 40 days at home after giving birth so that she could bond with the little boy.
“I’m really into attachment parenting. I really don't separate from him,” she said. “I feel like my time is dedicated to taking care of my baby and bonding with him.”
But this week, Kourtney opened up about feeling guilty over not prioritizing her other kids while her attention is focused on Rocky.
During a conversation with her friend about “mom guilt,” Kourt admitted that she was struggling to balance her time with all of her kids.
“Yesterday, the guilt really hit, where I was like, ‘OK, I have to do more with the other kids,’” she shared.
“I don’t know how I’m balancing it yet,” she added.
In a confessional, Kourtney continued, “I have kids [in] all different age ranges. Preteen, teenage, adults, an infant, so I really do try to set aside one-on-one time with each of my kids.”
“I don’t wanna miss anything. It’s like a feeling of being pulled in different directions, like wanting to be everything to everyone,” she said.
This comes almost three years after Kourtney hit back at Instagram users who accused her of never spending time with her kids.
Back in 2021, several internet users questioned why Kourtney reduced the number of social media posts featuring her kids and wound up speculating that she was spending all of her time with Travis, who frequently appeared on her page.
Kourtney responded directly to a comment suggesting she was “finally” spending time with her little ones. She wrote, “I’m with my kids every day thank God. social media isn't always real life.”
