Cara Delevingne Just Revealed That Victoria Beckham Asked Her To Stop Talking About A Spice Girls Reunion When She “Pestered” Her About It At Glastonbury

Cara opened up about two awkward celeb encounters in a new interview.

If there is one thing that pop lovers of a certain age are vying for, it is a full Spice Girls reunion — complete with Victoria Beckham.

The British girl band was formed in 1994, and enjoyed worldwide success throughout the ‘90s. But in 1998, cracks started to show when Geri Halliwell-Horner sensationally quit the group.


Victoria, Mel B, Mel C, and Emma Bunton continued for another two years, but the Spice Girls ultimately went on hiatus in 2000.


Since then, there has been the occasional reunion, with all five girls getting back together for a global tour in 2007.

Then, in August 2012, the girls were back for a special performance at the Olympics closing ceremony in London, but it has since been made clear that Victoria has no intention of reviving her Posh Spice alter ego again.

While all five members are still on good terms, and even lightheartedly performed together at Victoria’s birthday party earlier this year, there is no sign of another full reunion on the horizon.

And one Spice Girls fan who is particularly disappointed about this is British model Cara Delevingne, who admitted in a new interview that she once “pestered” Victoria over it.

In fact, Victoria was forced to politely ask Cara to stop going on about a reunion when they crossed paths at Glastonbury music festival, with Cara telling the Times in a recent interview: “I pestered Victoria Beckham about it once at Glastonbury. She was like, ‘Please stop talking to me about that.’”

And this hasn’t been the star’s only faux pas at the iconic British event over the years, with Cara going on to admit that she had no idea who living legend Bruce Springsteen was when she posed for a photo with him backstage two years ago.

Acknowledging that her girlfriend Minke, whose real name is Leah Mason, was horrified by her ignorance, Cara said: “Leah likes old rock, Fleetwood Mac, whereas I like R&B and old-school hip-hop, like the Notorious B.I.G."

“We teach each other so many things,” she went on. “Two years ago, we were backstage at Glastonbury, and we took a photo with this guy. I said to Leah afterwards: ‘Who was that?’ She was like: ‘What? That was Bruce Springsteen!’ I had no idea what he looked like. She thinks that’s blasphemy.”

The revelation comes just one month after Cara and Minke celebrated their two-year anniversary, when Cara heaped praise on her girlfriend for supporting her through “life’s ups and downs" in a sweet Instagram tribute.
