When it comes to the best iPad for Procreate you don't really need to spend a lot of money, because this fantastic digital art app has been designed to run on all iPads, new and old-ish, large and small (click the FAQ quick link for a full list). The real question is, do you need a large display, access to newer tech like the Apple Pencil Pro or want to also use new 2D animation app Procreate Dreams, which does only run on iPad Pro.
