AWS Partner Of The Year Winners Include TCS, Slalom, Presidio, Capgemini

Here are the 2023 AWS Partner of the Year award winners unveiled at AWS re:Invent today.

At AWS re:Invent 2023 today, Amazon Web Services unveiled the 2023 partner award winners which included channel superstars like Presidio, Capgemini and Slalom.

“With our partners, AWS can help our customers achieve more and achieve the impossible,” Ruba Borno, AWS global channel chief, told CRN. “I want to thank our partners who are leading the way in AI, cloud migration and more, as we continue to pursue a partner-led strategy.”

The $92 billion Seattle-based worldwide cloud market share leader honors various partners each year that are in the AWS Partner Network (APN) and play key roles in helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on AWS.

These award winners are recognized for having business models that have embraced specialization, cooperation and innovation in 2023, according to Borno, vice president, head of worldwide channels and alliances for AWS.

“I want to continue to encourage partners to invest in differentiated capabilities by industry and by technology,” said Borno. “The theme to this year’s [AWS re:Invent] is ‘Impossible First’. So things that the customer felt were an insurmountable challenge, but because they worked with AWS and our partners, they were able to overcome that challenge.”

A panel of AWS experts selected the winners based on strict criteria with third-party audit conducted by Canalys. Here are the 2023 AWS Partner Of The Year award winners for the Global and North America categories.

Global System Integrator Winners

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was the AWS 2023 GSI Partner Of The Year award winner.

For North America, Atos and Eviden both won the 2023 Partner of the Year award for the region.

The GSI award was given to top global partners that provided significant revenue contributions, launched new opportunities, certified net new individuals, and the amount of APN specializations earned. Other AWS partner finalists for the global and North American GSI awards included Accenture and Capgemini.

AWS Marketplace Channel Parter Of The Year

Presidio won the 2023 AWS Marketplace Channel Partner Of The Year award.

Other finalists for the global award included World Wide Technology and CDW.

AWS recognized top partners with a significant amount of AWS Marketplace transactions this year. There were no regional awards for this category.

AI/ML Partner Of The Year

Capgemini was the winner of the 2023 AWS AI/ML Global Partner Of The Year award for GSIs.

Slalom won the Global AI/ML Partner Of The Year award for SIs.

Dataiku was the Global ISV AL/ML Partner Of The Year award winner.

The artificial intelligence and machine learning winners demonstrated expertise in AI and ML, with judging based on the number of competencies, value provided to customer, and revenue generated. There were no regional categories.

MSP Partner Of The Year

AWS named Bespin Global as its 2023 Global MSP Partner Of The Year award winner. There were no other regional award winners. Finalists for the MSP award included SoftwareONE and TD Synnex.

AWS recognizes these top MSPs that provide end-to-end AWS solutions to customers at any stage in their cloud journey—from consultation and building applications to ongoing support and optimization.

System Integrator Winners

Slalom was the global winner of the 2023 AWS SI Partner Of The Year award.

For North America, Rackspace Technology won the AWS SI Partner Of The Year award for the region.

The award was given to SIs that drove significant revenue, launched new opportunities, the amount of net new certified individuals and APN specializations earned during the year. Other AWS partner finalist for the SI awards for the global and North American award included Classmethod, AllCloud and Mission Cloud.

Innovation Partners Of The Year

Capgemini won AWS’ 2023 Global Innovation Partner Of The Year award.

For North America, Klika Tech won the Innovation Partner Of The Year award for the region.

These partners delivered innovative consulting, professional, managed, and value-added resale services. Winners demonstrated proof in delivering outstanding customer experience via an integrated lifecycle of services, AWS said.

Migration Partners Of The Year

Cognizant won AWS’ 2023 Global Migration Partner Of The Year award for GSIs.

Slalom won AWS’ Global Migration Partner Of The Year award for SIs.

Splunk won the Global Migration Partner Of The Year award for ISVs.

AWS recognized top partners with the Migration Competency, demonstrating expertise in customer migrations to the AWS cloud. The awards were based on number, value, and on-time delivery of migrations. There were no regional awards in this category.

Rising Star Partner Of The Year

The North American winner for the AWS 2023 Rising Star Partner of the Year award was Autoverse. There was no global winner in this category.

AWS recognizes rising star partners that have witnessed significant year over year growth in their AWS business. Other finalists in North America include Crown Castle and Teleperformance.

Distributor Partners of The Year

Ingram Micro won AWS 2023 Global Distributor Partner Of The Year award.

Additionally, Ingram Micro also won AWS Distributor Partner Of The Year award for the North America region.

For this award, AWS distributors were judged based on revenue contributions and the number of AWS partners reached. Other global and North American finalists included TD Synnex and Digital China.

ISV Partner Of The Year

Cisco won AWS’ 2023 Global ISV Partner Of The Year award.

For North America, Databricks was Partner Of The Year for the region.

AWS recognized ISVs that are using AWS to lower costs, increase agility and innovate faster for customers. Other global and North America finalists included Adobe, Siemens, Splunk and CrowdStrike.
