TV Broadcast Studios 

The European Parliament offers broadcasters access to fully staffed state-of-the-art TV studios available for Media coverage of activities of the EP. Whether you want your Broadcast production to take place in an open space or in a closed studio, our facilities can meet your needs and are customisable to your requirements.

Brussels 

Agora Set  

The Agora Set is a Broadcast studio integrated at the heart of the European Parliament buildings in Brussels for live or recorded production of programmes such as debates, interviews and round table discussions.

The central location is the strength of this set. At this busy crossroad in the building you get a discreet feel of the liveliness in your backdrop. The modular LED walls are designed to offer maximum flexibility to create the backdrop best suited to your programme.

The Qube 

With a surface area of 225m², this indoor studio can host panels of up to six people, with or without audience. The set-up can be arranged in various manners and is easily adaptable to the individual needs of TV stations.

Conditions of use  

Available free of charge (except for satellite transmission costs) for all Broadcast media communicating on EP affairs with MEPs.
Pre-production meetings will be organised ahead of the operation with your producer/director. Audience figures should be provided within a week.

When to book?

Be sure to book sooner rather than later as we work on a first-come, first-served basis. The minimum booking time is one week before the week in question but that leaves you with little options left. Most of our clients with regular programs book on a 6-month basis.

Strasbourg 

Lobby Set 

The Lobby Set is a Broadcast studio integrated in the Audiovisual open space, right next to the Strasbourg Chamber with a view of the Protocol arrival area and double spiral staircase. Equipped with 7 HD Broadcast cameras and a 7 meter crane, the Lobby is set up to suit all your studio needs (recorded or live), located right at the centre of the action during Strasbourg sessions.

  • Professional 120m² studio for panel discussions up to 6 participants and 1 presenter or 5 participants and 2 presenters.
  • Available from Monday PM until Thursday AM during the Strasbourg sessions.
  • 7 Broadcast cameras (6 + 1 crane)

  • Autocue/Teleprompter available

Staircase Set  

The Staircase Set is a Broadcast studio integrated in the double spiral staircase next to the Chamber. This small open space studio enables journalists to do interviews in a 1+1 or 1+2 set-up, overlooking the action of the television area. The compact size of it makes it fast and easy to work in.

  • Professional 20m² for 1+1 or 1+2 interviews.
  • Available from Monday PM until Wednesday PM during Strasbourg sessions.
  • Up to 5 Broadcast and PTZ cameras
  • Autocue/Teleprompter available
