HONOR has confirmed the launch of HONOR 200 series at an event in China on May 27th. The successor to last year’s HONOR 100 series has a familiar rear design.
The image shows triple rear cameras for the HONOR 200 Pro which as a 50MP main camera with 1/1.3″ sensor, OIS, f/1.9 aperture. According to leaker Digital Chat Station, this will likely be the Omnivision OV50H sensor. The phone will feature a 32MP telephoto camera, and the image mentions 50x digital zoom, but it is said to feature 2.5X optical zoom.
The phone is said to pack a 5200mAh battery compared to 5000mAh in the predecessor, and retain 100W fast charging. We can expect Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and a 1.5K curved OLED screen.
In addition to green, the phone will also come in Black, Pink and White colours with patterns on the back. We should know more details about the phones in the coming days, before these go official later this month.
