DirecTV said it might drop Newsmax because the conservative news channel is seeking a “significant fee” to be carried.

Newsmax had provided its signal to carriers for free, to spread their propaganda. Now the conspiracy channel is wanting DirecTV to pay them to carry their signal.

“While we cannot comment on negotiations, we expect DirecTV, and its majority owner AT&T, to treat Newsmax on a fair and equitable basis in relation to all of the channels it carries, especially after both companies de-platformed OAN last year,” NewsMax said in a statement.

Do viewers really want to be charged for that crap?

If I had DirecTV and they started charging me for NewsMax, I would drop them like a bad habit.
