The ASUS Z790-AYW OC WIFI motherboard is now available, offering support for memory overclocking up to 8200+ MT/s. This model has been designed with a 1SPC dual DDR5 memory slot configuration, enabling DDR5-8200+ overclocking, which is slightly below the previously leaked 8400+ MT/s specification. The motherboard features startup, restart, and reset BIOS hardware buttons, along with Q-CODE indicator lights to aid hardware enthusiasts in optimizing memory overclocking. The ASUS Z790-AYW OC WIFI has a black PCB with a white heat sink and is equipped with a 12 (60A)+1 (60A)+1 phase Dr.MOS power supply and an EPS 8+4 pin CPU auxiliary power interface. It includes five PCIe slots: one alloy-reinforced PCIe Gen4x16 slot, two full-length PCIe Gen4x4 slots, and two PCIe Gen4x1 slots.

For storage, the motherboard provides three PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 slots (two 22110 and one 2280 physical specification) and four SATA 3 interfaces. Networking capabilities include a Realtek 2.5Gb wired network port and a wireless network card supporting Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. The integrated rear IO panel includes four USB 2.0 ports, two 5Gbps Type-A ports, two 10Gbps ports (one Type-A and one Type-C), and an HDMI port. The front IO features include a 10Gbps Type-C pin set, two 4-out 5Gbps pin sets, and two 4-out USB 2.0 pin sets. Additionally, there is a reserved set of Thunderbolt (USB4) interface pins. The standard Z790-AYW WIFI W model of the "AYW" series is available in the domestic market, priced at approximately $280 USD. The Z790-AYW OC WIFI, focused on memory overclocking, is expected to have a similar price point.
