This device is scheduled for release on February 13, 2025, with an expected market price of approximately 43,780 yen, which converts to around $336 (based on current exchange rates). It is designed to accommodate both gaming enthusiasts and everyday users who require stable, high-throughput connections for activities such as video streaming, file transfers, and online collaboration.

One notable feature of the Archer GE550 is its “Game Boost” function, which aims to reduce jitter, lag, and ping spikes by allocating higher priority to data traffic related to gaming platforms and servers. This router also provides a selection of ports, including one 5 Gigabit WAN port, one 5 Gigabit LAN port, and three 2.5 Gigabit LAN ports. Additionally, it comes equipped with a USB 3.0 port, which can be configured as an FTP server, media server, or Samba server for convenient local or remote file sharing.
