Alia Bhatt is the daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan. She made her acting debut with Sangharsh, as a child artist in 1999. She played her first leading role in Karan Johar's teen film Student of the Year in 2012. She is one of the highest-paid actors of Bollywood who has won multiple awards for her film roles. She made a mark in the Hindi film industry with Highway, 2 States, Dear Zindagi and Gangubai Kathiawadi. She got married to Ranbir Kapoor.
