Karan Johar was born in Bombay, Maharashtra, son of Yash Johar. He is an Indian filmmaker who made his directorial debut with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which made him win Filmfare Award for Best Director. He directed many successful movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and My Name is Khan. The movie, Raazi was produced by him which won the Filmfare Award for Best Film. He is the owner of Dharma Productions. He has hosted many seasons of Koffee with Karan. He has judged the reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and India’s Got Talent.
