Recently, Nadella, Adobe Inc.’s Shantanu Narayen and former WhatsApp executive Neeraj Arora invested in Major League Cricket in the US, which is played in the same shorter format of 20 overs as the T20 franchise. The league’s inaugural game was played last year in Texas.
In November last year, the Indian-origin tech leader, in his keynote address at the Microsoft annual developer conference, said he stayed up all night to watch the India-New Zealand cricket world cup semi-final clash.
