The Narendra Modi government has hit back at former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey for claiming that the Centre had threatened shutdown of the social media platform in 2021 during the farmers' protest. MoS I-T Rajeev Chandrasekhar rubbished Jack Dorsey's claims as 'outright lie.' The ex-Twitter boss had said that the government had asked Twitter to restrict accounts of journalists and protesters.
