Virat Kohli slams historic 50th ODI century

Virat Kohli registered his historic 50th ODI century and broke Sachin Tendulkar's world record in the first semi-final of the World Cup 2023 against New Zealand.

Kohli ended his semi-final innings by playing a masterful knock against New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium on Novemeber 15, 2023. 

Team India talisman Kohli smashed his 50th ODI century, the highest in the history of ODI cricket.

Kohli also became the batter with most runs in a single edition of the World Cup.

The former India skipper broke Tendulkar's twin records in a single inning during the semi-final of the ICC tournament. 

The batter amassed more than 674 runs in World Cup 2023, zooming past Tendulkar's 2003 World Cup tally of 673 runs. 

Kohli shattered Tendulkar's twin records after 20 years.

Batting maestro Kohli extended his lead over Quinton De Kock, Rachin Ravindra, Rohit and David Warner in the ICC World Cup 2023 batting chart.

Virat Kohli is now the leading run-getter in the ICC World Cup 2023. He slammed three centuries and 6 half-centuries at the World Cup 2023.
