As reported by Buzzfeed News, Apple has hired Low as its new Vice President of Worldwide Corporate Communications. The executive, who is formerly the communications chief at Cisco, is taking on the role after it sat unfulfilled for about two years. She will report directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook.
The company confirmed the hire, saying that Low is a great leader that will "help us write the next chapter."
Apple has had a few executive-level changes lately. Greg Joswiak recently took over Worldwide Marketing from Phil Schiller and John Ternus took over as the company's Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering from Dan Riccio.
