pushNotify sends notifications from your jailbroken iPhone or iPad to your Mac
pushNotify is a jailbreak tweak available for both iPhone and iPad that lets you forward all of your notifications to any Mac running OS X Mavericks or later. While you won't be able to reply to notifications with pushNotify, it is a handy way to keep an eye on your iPhone or iPad without interrupting your workflow.
The idea behind pushNotify is that you can see what notifications you have on your iPhone or iPad without actually having to have either right in front of you. Once you've linked them to your Mac, your iPhone or iPad will forward notifications from any app to your Mac.
For pushNotify to work, your iOS device and your Mac have to be on the same wifi network. After you've paired them you've got a few options for configuring pushNotify. I personally like the Suppress mode which allows you to forward notifications to your Mac while suppressing them from actually appearing only our iPhone or iPad. This is convenient for times when your iPhone or iPad is in another room or while someone else is using it. You can also selectively choose apps you want to forward and what ones to leave on your iPhone or iPad.
pushNotify is available in Cydia now for only $0.99. The Mac version is available for free via the link below as a companion to pushNotify for iOS. If you decide to try it out, let me know what you think of it in the comments. Is this a feature you'd like to eventually see in iOS or do you still prefer keeping mobile and desktop separate?
