Tell this app how you're feeling and it'll set your Hue lights to match
What you need to know
- Hue Sentiment is a new app that takes your mood and sets your Hue lighting to match.
- The more information you give the app, the better the lighting match will be.
Hue Sentiment is a new iPhone app that takes your current mood and uses it to decide what color your room should be. Using the Philips Hue lights you have installed, the app can light the room based on whether you're feeling positive, negative, or plain old neutral.
The App Store has no shortage of apps that can control your lights and there is of course the official Philips Hue app as well. But being able to type into an app, tell it how you feel, and have the room react? That's a new one to me!
Hue Sentiment is an easy to use light app which translates text into a mood. Simply type how you're feeling and notice the lights change based on your mood.
NOTABLE FEATURES:
- Option to pick any hue to display when you feel positive; neutral and negative
- Option to enable/disable individual lights to include them with every mood change
- Option to animate through all hues (if you're not sure what mood you're feeling)
- Small haptics when interacting, improving the overall experience
- VoiceOver support
- 3D Touch
The more you type the better Hue Sentiment will be at matching your lights to your mood and developer Rihab Mehboob is "all ears" for any feedback you have.
You can download Hue Sentiment from the App Store now. It's priced at $1.99. Now you just need to find some Philips Hue light deals and you're all set!
