People are losing their minds over photos of a young Jason Momoa

Jason Momoa, who played our favourite Dothraki in Game of Thrones and is appearing Aquaman in the latest Justice League film, was young once.

The shock. The horror.

And though most of our Facebook photos circa 2007 should never see the light of day (Emo cuts, braces and the like), his dashing young looks puts us all to shame.

Here’s what he looks like now, all hair and pout.

Twitter users unearthed old photos of Momoa from the late 90s, when he was Hawaii’s Model of the Year 1999.

Like a hairless baby seal. Look at that face.

While working at a local surf shop in Hawaii, Momoa was scouted to star in Bay Watch.

A far cry from the beastly Khal Drogo days.

He told New York Post:

I got called 'pretty boy' my whole life. If anything, it's like, 'Good.' It's not my thing now.
