Viewers were shocked and amused after Sky News accidentally played a video of Prince Andrew during a segment on a new suspect in the missing persons case of Madeleine McCann.
During the 8pm news bulletin on Monday evening, host Dermot Murnaghan opened the show with their "top story”:

Unfortunately, instead of showing clips of Madeleine, the prosecutors or even the actual suspect in question, Sky News showed a video of Prince Andrew having what looks like a serious conversation with someone wearing a palace lanyard.
Twitter user David Lewis (@DavidCLewis) posted the video to the social media platform and called the mistake a “Horrific VT cockup”.

Dermot Murnaghan’s face afterwards is, as they say, a picture.— David (@David) 1591649320
And then the jokes started:
Sky News apologised for the mix up.
