Israel Shipyards Ltd. has achieved a significant milestone in our ongoing collaboration with the Philippine Navy. Following the successful renewal of the naval shipyard in Cavite and our pioneering efforts in constructing the SHALDAG MK V (FAIC-M), we have now completed the first docking and undocking operation of the BRP LOLINATO TO-ONG (PG902) at the newly upgraded Naval Shipbuilding Center (NSC).
This operation, a key component of our technology transfer (TOT) and shipbuilding renewal initiatives, paves the way for future FAIC-M assemblies and underscores our commitment to advancing naval capabilities. July 2020 - Israel Shipyards, one of the largest public owned shipbuilding and repair facilities in the Eastern Mediterranean ‒ announces an agreement with an African navy for the supply of two OPV 45 offshore patrol vessels. The vessels were designed for a wide range of missions, including protection against the increasing threat of piracy in the region.
The OPV 45 is designed for a wide range of naval, para-military and HLS missions. It enables open sea patrol and surveillance and supports a wide variety of offshore missions such as the protection of facilities and EEZs, anti-terror/smuggling/illegal activity interdiction, intervention force boarding/landing, close-range naval combat operations, and enhanced search and rescue missions. The OPV 45 can also be equipped for minimizing illegal immigration transits, fishing protection and control, and anti-pollution activities.

January 2020 - Sheave Cluster Bearing Replacement for the Stena DrillMAX - As a part of Israel Shipyards Ltd offshore oil & gas support services (since 2009), we are proud to add to our record of accomplishments the Sheave Cluster Bearing Replacement campaign that has been successful completed for the Stena DrillMAX.
The replacement of the four (4) bearings of the Main Sheave Cluster has been performed in accordance with NOV procedures under Stena's supervision and included pre fabrication of utilities on the fast track, site mobilization, mechanical works using numerous high skilled crews around-the-clock, NDE and dimensional inspection.
The campaign was completed according to the planed schedule, which ended with the 20 ton, 5.5 diameter Sheave load out at our private quayside.
Israel Shipyards Ltd will keep providing excellent logistic support, manufacture and repair services for the region's offshore drilling industries – operators and oilfield services companies.

November 2019 – Israeli Navy Reshef Class based on ISL SA’AR S-72 - We proudly announce Israel Shipyards was assigned by Israel MOD and Navy to design the Israel Navy– the future advanced combat ship RESHEF class vessel. Reshef will replace the reliable above-20-years-in-service SA’AR 4.5. It will be based on the ISL S-72 proven design and will significantly empower the Israeli Navy capabilities facing future combat demands. The RESHEF will assist in protecting Israel’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and the off-shore oil & gas facilities within Israel’s territorial waters. All combat systems onboard the new ship will be of Israel’s defense industry produce.
November 2019 – New floating dock order - Israel’s MOD and Navy ordered Israel Shipyards’ floating dock along with a 10 years’ service agreement to maintain and repair the Navy’s SA’AR 6-class corvettes and submarines. The dock will allow for flexible operative mobility, installing all-Israeli combat systems onboard the SA’AR 6 vessels upon their arrival.

18 November, 2018 – Israel Shipyards Ltd. Is proud to announce the launch of the third and fourth Shaldag (FPC) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The vessels Timbú(3rd) and Toba(4th), will join the previously delivered Shaldag craft and will perform as the elite squadron of the Prefectura Naval Argentina (PNA), as they will patrol the Paraná River to prevent illegal activities and enforce the Argentinean laws.

Cape Town (South Africa), 27-28th October 2011 - Israel Shipyards Ltd. hold a booth at the M.C.S.A. (Maritime & Coastal Security Africa 2011). Among the many visitors that came to the booth for hearing in depth presentations of the different OPV types, the SHALDAG Fast Patrol Craft and options of Floating Docks, were high Naval officers and official delegations from all over Africa.

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011 – In an official Naval ceremony held at Israel Shipyards Ltd., the two new 62m OPV were delivered to the Navy of Equatorial Guinea. At the Ceremony, among the speakers, were Mr. Matan Vilnai – Minister at the Israeli Defense and Admiral Eya Olomo – Vice-Minister of National Defense Equatorial Guinea. At the end of the ceremony the two Offshore Patrol vessels sailed out of the harbor, accompanied with cheers from all the guests.
Wednesday, December 15th 2010 – The crew of the two new 62m OPV that are already staying at Israel Shipyards Ltd. for intensive operational and maintenance training, had a visit of a Ministerial delegation from Guinea Equatorial.
The delegation included Admiral Vicente Eya Olomo – Vice-Minister of National Defence, Admiral Roberto Ndong – General Manager (Secretario General) of Ministry of National Defence and Admiral Joaquin Ndong Nve – Naval Chief of staff. They have inspected the Offshore Patrol Vessel that will shortly be delivered to Guinea Equatorial Navy.
During the visit, the launching ceremony of the second OPV was held, and the two vessels are now being prepared for the delivery to the customer.

Thursday, November 4th, 2010 – The third SHALDAG MK IV Fast Patrol Craft is on its way to Romania for delivery to the Romanian Border Police.
The Fast Patrol Craft was loaded on the MV Blue Tune on her maiden voyage after being delivered to the German Owner.

Monday, 1st November 2010 – Israel Shipyards Ltd hosted the Latin American Military and Naval Attaches of Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru.
The guests had a presentation of the Shipyard capabilities and vessels, and also sailed on board of the SHALDAG MK IV for first hand demonstration of the Fast Patrol Craft at sea.

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan visited the SHALDAG MKII Fast Patrol Craft, which is servicing the Nigerian Navy and joined a Navy exercise as a part of the Nigerian Independence day and the Nigerian Army day on the 29th September 2010.

On the 6th of September 2010, in an official ceremony, 40 Shaldags crew members have graduated the ISTC (Israel Shipyards Training Center) after a 5 weeks intensive course for operating and maintaining the three SHALDAG MK IVs constructed for the Romanian Border Police.
