SSC JHT Notification 2024
The Staff Selection Commission can release the SSC JHT 2024 notification on ssc.gov.in on 2nd August 2024. Candidates who have the required SSC JHT exam eligibility criteria can apply online for the SSC JHT exam 2024 from SSC website before the last date which shall be notified after the notification has been released. The selection of candidates for the SSC JHT exam is done through a written exam and document verification.

SSC JHT Application Form 2024
SSC will activate the SSC JHT application form 2024 on its website on 23rd July 2024. The candidates who fulfill the SSC JHT eligibility criteria could now fill out the application form once it is released. The form has to be filled in two parts. The first part will include registration while the second part shall include completion of the form. Once successful registration has been done by the candidates online, the application fee has to be paid.
SSC JHT Eligibility Criteria 2024
SSC prescribes the SSC JHT eligibility on its website for the Junior Hindi Translator post. The eligibility criteria include fulfilling the SSC JHT age limit, educational qualification and nationality. Here are the details for the SSC JHT exam eligibility:
Nationality for SSC JHT
Candidates applying for SSC JHT should be:
- Citizen of India or
- The subject of Bhutan/ Nepal or
- Tibetan refugee who moved to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
SSC JHT Age Limit
The age limit of candidates for SSC JHT exam should not be more than 30 years for General candidates. An upper age limit relaxation will however, be provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
SSC JHT Educational Qualification
The educational qualification for SSC JHT 2024 exam is that the candidates should have a Masters degree in either Hindi or English language. The post wise SSC JHT educational qualifications are as follows:

SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2024
SSC JHT exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is a computer based test while Paper 2 is a descriptive test. Paper 1 will have questions from General Hindi and General English, while in Paper 2 candidates, will have to write essays and do the translation.
