I normally buy really expensive gel pens since I like to keep my planner
colorful and this one not only made my dad happy when he saw the price for the
individuals and found it reasonable if you only wanted a few.
Pros: individual price is good, cute little Miffy is on it :3, glides on the
paper, does have a scent that is faint on the paper and is slightly long
lasting
Cons: has a strong scent off the pen 0.o' [it's only a con if you don't like
having it super strong when you try to see what the scent is, so if you are
going to smell-test it when you first receive it I suggest that you do not put
it SUPER close to your nose, have room for a finger to slightly wiggle]
Im on a dong-a miffy scented gel pen shopping spree ever since I bought my first
one. And this pen is a great black gel pen; the packaging is really cute and the
writing experience is better than some of the other scented gel pen colors. If
you buy these because of their smell then I guess you will be disappointed with
the black pen since I noticed no scent to it.
I'm torn I wanted to LOVE this pen sadly I don't. I read all the reviews on
this pen before purchasing and I'm disappointed that it skips for me when it
didn't seem to be an issue with anyone else. I have tried different types of
paper thinking maybe that was why and nope still skips. With that said I do
really like this pen when it is writing everything is great ... when it starts
skipping mid letter it's not so great anymore. :(
This pen is cute, writes well, and was super affordable! Unfortunately, it also
ran out of ink (or technically clogged, I guess, as there's still ink in it)
after a couple days of using it, and writes a bit "spotty" now :/
These pens make me so happy! I am a bit of a pen connoisseur and typically use
expensive fountain pens. However, I must admit, these Dong-A Miffy gellies make
my heart sing! Due to their incredibly low price, I can have various colors
around multiple rooms in my house and even keep a couple in my car. I am pleased
to report that I have yet to experience skipping or any other issues previously
reported. For me, these pens write like a creamy, bold dream. These inexpensive
gel pens make me a happy writer, and I will keep coming back for more!
was gifted this pen as a kid, loved it dearly, used up all the ink, and mourned
the loss of it. i never thought i'd see it again! just kinda assumed it was one
of those random pens that doesn't get made forever. was i ever happy to come
across it here!
also, i didn't know it was scented! just thought that whatever the ink was made
of just happened to smell nice. that's fun!
The only thing wrong with this pen is that it isn't a click pen. I don't get the
scent but that wasn't why I bought it. It writes smoothly and the ink is dark.
